History&Developing of
Shuttlecock
The first known version of jianzi
was in the 5th century BC in China. The name Ti Jian Zi, means simply
'kick shuttlecock' ('ti' = kick, 'jian zi' = little shuttlecock). The
game is believed to have evolved from Cuju, a game similar to football
that was used as military training. Over the next 1000 years, this
shuttlecock game spread throughout Asia, acquiring a variety names
along the way.
Day by day, the sport receives a
greater recognition. It has been included as a official sport in the
Southeast Asian Games of 2003 and 2009. The International Shuttleccok
Federation(ISF) has 26 official members in the world.Among them, China
and the Vietnam are considered as leading teams. August 11th 2003 was a
big day for Europe Shuttlecock, all delegates from Finland, France,
Germany, Greece, Hungary, Romania and Serbia founded the Shuttlecock
Federation of Europe (S.F.E.), in Ujszasz (Hungary).Hungary and Germany
are considered the Best Teams in Europe.

(Singapore) officially registered with ROS on March 31st 2012.
Shuttlecock
Association (Singapore)(SAS) had very 1st batch coaching course level 1
in June 2012.
Now we are looking for more
people to join us to promote this game in Singpaore. We aim to send
teams for 7th World Shuttlecock Championships in Hochiminh City,
Vietnam in July 2013.

Techniques
of Shuttlecock
Shuttlecock has 4 very basic
skills, Leopard head,Dragon Tail,Sitting Tiger and Standing Crane. For
intermediate and advanced level, the techniques have snake kick, flyig
dragon kick,ball control with chest and shoulder, etc.
When
you play the real game , you need know game rules, basic techniques and
tatics.

The International
Shuttlecock Federation (ISF) is pleased to inform you that the 7th
World Shuttlecock Championships will be hosted in Hochiminh City,
Vietnam in July 2013.
All International Shuttlecock
Federation members are welcome to send teams to participate. The
Executive Committee Meeting and General Assembly of the International
Shuttlecock Federation will take place at the same place during the
world championships.
Untill now the
ISF Secretariat got the confirmation from 11 countries that they
wish to participate in the 7th World Championships, namely Greece,
Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, France, HongKong China,
Bulgaria, Finland.

Shuttlecock game is the
official event of the Asian Indoor Games and East-Asia Games. To
further promote shuttlecock game in Asia, the International
Shuttlecock Federation organized the International Shuttlecock Coach
and Referee Training Courses in Xiaolan Town, Province, China
from 11 to 16 December, 2011.
11 countries coaches and referees
participated this course. Mr Guo Xian Cheng and Mr.Zhang Tie
Lin shared their referee and coaching experience with different
counties coaches and referees.
Mr.Yang Bin was only one coach
and referee from Singapore.

The Official Rules of the
Shuttlecock Sport was made by the collaboration of Proffesors Zhang
Guilen, Liu Tianshi and Wang Jun with Mr. Iordanis Stavridis, Mr. Ilias
Zioris, Mr. Dimitrios Katakalaios of the Greek Shuttlecock Federation
and Mr. Pekka Marjamäki of the Finnish Shuttlecock Association
under the strict supervision of the Chinese Shuttlecock Association and
the International Shuttlecock Federation secreteriat. The purpose of
the Official Shuttlecock Sport rules is to provide guidelines to best
describe how Shuttlecock Sport is played. Since its inception,
Shuttlecock Sport has relied on good sportsmanship and fair games by
all players. Therefore, the players have a basic responsibility to play
within the regulations set forth and to have mutual respect...

In compliance with Article 5 of
Chapter 2 of the ISF Statues, there shall be only one Member of the ISF
from each country or region.
Also stated in Article 3 of the
same Chapter any national or regional association which has been
recognized as the governing body of the sport of shuttlecock within its
country or region by the overall governing body of the sport, if any,
of that country or region and whose statutes are not inconsistent with
those of the ISF may apply to the ISF to be a Full Member.
Those sport associations without
the above mentioned recognition may apply to the ISF to be an associate
